Forum: etree Subject: TXT file errors????

hey all
i got a email that my md5s failed. The email said that my txt file had errors. What does that mean? I always make them with notepad. how do i figure out whats wrong? This is so frustrating.

email me a copy of your .md5 file, preferably paste the text into the body of the email....
and maybe copy me the email you got that says the file had errors...
I'll look it over. It might just be that your upload got corrupted, and no longer matches the checksum, it happens... someone might conceivably say that your text file was in error, when it's really a file that doesn't pass the .md5 verification.

Also you say you 'made the md5 with notepad' ?
Could you elaborate on exactly what you mean?
